It was a great job where you are given responsiblity from the start and help the team you are placed with function as efficiently as possible As an intern however you are not FSA registered so a lot of this work is admin related but still appreciated
People were nice and helpful There was generally a welcoming and helpful atmosphere
The HSBC Global Banking Advisory internship was extremely enjoyable with a good mix of training and onthe job learning
IBD is an interesting job
Enjoyed it much more than I anticipated Gave me a reason to get out of bed at 500am
Great weeks training very friendly HR team and good programme
Overall I enjoyed the placement However I felt it would have been more enjoyable if there was more for me to do on a day to day basis Personally I do not find retail banking interesting On the other hand the location of my branch was extremely good
It was a job in an area requiring anaylytical skills and for this reason I really enjoyed it
