The Role
It was a great year. I learnt so much that I can take forward into my future career, and I am very thankful to E.ON for the opportunity. The office was very welcoming and friendly and made me feel at home from the start.
Very much so, the work that I was given throughout the year was very meaningful work, which made me feel like they trusted me to do a good job.
If I ever needed any help or guidance my manger was always there to support me.
On a daily basis there was always work to do, but I would not find my self consumed in work on a daily basis. Often certain weeks of the month would be much busier then others. The placement is very much you get what you put in.
There was significant responsibility, in some cases the work I was doing was shown to stakeholders across the company. Other times, work that I contributed to directly affected senior executive decisions.
Very much so, the placement has helped me put the theory I learnt during my degree into practice, and has really helped to set me up for the career path I want to follow.
The Company
Good, friendly atmosphere. Everyone was easy to get along with, and I made some good friends throughout the year.
Organised well.

The Culture
We often had days out with the office, going to meals out together and other activities.
I lived in Loughborough which was about 25 minutes away from the power station. Living costs in Loughborough are relatively cheap, and houses can be found from around 65 - 90 pounds a week.
Not to bad, I went on a few work nights out. There are plenty of places to go, Loughborough is a 西瓜视频 town with lots of clubs and bars, and Nottingham and Leicester are close by as well.
Yes, there is plenty to do around work. Ratcliffe also has a football team that plays every Wednesday.
