The Role
Loved every monute of it. Was really gutted to leave by the end and hoping to keep in contact with everyone
Most of the time very valued. There was a week or so at first when I felt I could do more but as time went on I felt like a valued member of the team.
Very supported, We had weekly updates on how the project was getting on and was asked daily if I was ok. The management team were very supportive.
Varied, Some days I didnt have much to do and othertimes I had to stay a bit later because I was set a deadline. Usually had a set task to get on with and kept nicely busy though.
Much more than I envisaged before I joined. I half thought I would be making cups of tea for the summer but on my very first day I was given a structured plan of what would take place which I found really helpful.
The people who I was working with helped me alot and even gave me a few ideas for my dissertation. I still keep in touch with them now for ideas on assignments.
The Company
Good atmosphere but also very professional.
I had a set plan before I arrived that my line manager arranged and I was asked if I wanted to concentrate on anything in particular.
I have now gained sponsorship for my studies and intend on join the grad scheme so lots of investment!
Was offered the chance to come back at christmas in between studies and I have gained sponsorship
The Culture
We went for afterwork drinks every friday
I was based in London so very expensive!
I just missed out on the sportsday. Looked like it was an anual event for charity.
