The Role
My placement year was an excellent learning experience with a lot of fun along the way. The culture is work hard play hard so there is plenty of opportunities to celebrate success.
Everyone in my team was very supportive, friendly and willing to help with any situation.
I was mentored day-to-day by a Business Director, which was an invaluable experience where I learned a lot. They were extremely approachable and very open when I had questions.
There is always something to do in recruitment so I was always busy. There a times when things slow down, like Christmas.
Was allowed to learn subject matter before being put out there on my own managing lots of candidates and clients, this was helpful. Towards the end of the placement I felt I probably could of handled more, but my workload was best for the business.
Transferable analytical and mainly people skills that can be used in any job. I will also be a lot more organised going into my final year of Uni.
The Company
Fun and energetic environment. Always time to have a laugh along with work.
Good training and plans throughout.
Lots of generic recruitment training, systems training, on the job training and even specific subject matter training around the desk I worked on. (Which was very expensive).
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
The Culture
Around 50 peer level people in the same building which was great.
Expensive, but that is London.
Great location for bars and pubs.
