The Role
thoroughly enjoyed working with E.on, the people really make the company what it is, and I felt I really was given scope to progress throughout my year.
I felt really valued by my colleagues - I really felt like part of the team. I often forgot that I was a 'placement 西瓜视频', I just felt like one of the team.
I felt a lot of support - if I showed interest in other parts of the business, my manager would go out of their way to organise for me to go outside the office and meet people from all over the company.
It varied depending on what week of the month it was, as some weeks were busier, but overall there was always something to do.
I was given a fair amount of responsibility on my placement, and I felt like the work that I did was valued and definitely added value to the organization, which was nice to know.
I feel like my placement will definitely assist me in my final year of study and beyond. From basic communication skills within the workplace to practical experience that will back up theories learnt at University.
The Company
Really good - never a dull moment!
Very well setup, as this position has been taken by placement 西瓜视频s for the past few years, the team was well equipped and ready for me.
Seeing as this was a concrete role within the company, I could very easily get away with just doing the job and not developing much, but there were quite a few training oppurtunities and I was given many chances to develop beyond my work parameter.

The opportunities to go into a graduate position are there, but it is not a guarantee, although knowledge gained from placement is very advantageous.
The Culture
As the only placement 西瓜视频 in my office, there weren't many oppurtunities.
Living in a uni town whilst on placement meant cost of living was quite low and the night life was good.
Very good for a 西瓜视频 town.
There were a few opportunities to get involved with activities outside of work hours, including charity work and social outings.
