The Role
It was a really enjoyable placement - the work was varied and i was given lots of responsibility.
It was a really welcoming environment. My colleagues treated me on the same level as other employees allowing me to get the greatest exposure to working life.
My management changed a few times throughout my placement. This instability made it harder for me to get consistent support. However there was still helpful guidance available.
My workload varied a lot from week to week. Sometimes i would have a lot on and the week would fly by. Others i would find myself trying to actively search for more to do. 西瓜视频ing a consistent workload would have been beneficial.
I was given a real insight into the work being undertaken at E.ON with no limitations placed upon me due to me being an intern. I had work that had a real life impact and visible results.
A lot of the work that i did allowed me to put into practice skills that i had learnt about in my first two university. This helped me see the real life application for what i had been learning during my degree - boosting my motivation to get the most out of my degree.
The Company
The office was a really friendly environment. Colleagues were always friendly and quick to ask how i was getting on.
There was a really good set up for the placement. It was structured with clear objectives that linked into the development required to apply to the Graduate scheme.
I was allowed to go on training courses to further my skills within my interest area. Also there were numerous trips to meet with other undergraduates in different areas of the business to see how each role sits within the company.

Working from home
There is a wide range of opportunities within the graduate scheme. A great effort is made to make you aware of these - as well as to help you with applying to those positions.
The Culture
There was a good group of other placement 西瓜视频s and we did quite a lot of outside of work socialising. This helped us get to know each other as well as settle into our roles.
I was living at home - but the cost of socialising was not expensive.
It was the same area that i grew up in so i knew the area well.
There was not a great deal of sports or other activities mentioned.
