Overview
I provide career advice and facilitate moves for lawyers at all levels of their career, from paralegal and newly qualified to associate and partner level, in both private practice and the in-house market.
Skills
Through this placement, I have developed a variety of strong and transferable skills including; time management, verbal and written communication, as well as team work and organization.
Responsibilities
I was surprised how much responsibility we where given. You can really make a difference in this role and learn how to work both independently and as part of a team.
Support & Guidance
I was extremely supported throughout this placement. Not only by my line manager and office manager, but they also provided us with a placement tutor within the office, who we could go to with any additional questions and support.
Culture
The company are very supportive. Everyone's achievements are not only just acknowledged, but also celebrated and rewarded.
Your Impressions
This has been an incredible experience to learn and develop new skills. But I have also had the chance to become more independent, meet some close friends and gain confidence.
Yes
Just go for it! This is an environment where hard work really is rewarded so I would say just put as much as you can into everything and enjoy the experience because it goes by too quickly.
