Overview
Working as a recruitment consultant, you'll attract candidates by drafting advertising copy for use in a range of media, as well as by networking, headhunting and through referrals. You'll screen candidates, interview them, run background checks and finally match them to clients. We have to call candidates and clients, extracting as much information as we can to give ourselves knowledge of the people, market, companies and sector we recruit for.
Skills
Developed my written and verbal communication skills. Developed my time management and organization skills. Learnt how to work new systems and how to recruit effectively.
Responsibilities
Yes i was given more and more responsibility as I progressed within my role.
Support & Guidance
I received constant support and guidance from my colleagues, line manager and others within the company who I was not familiar with initially.
