  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Lots of variety, from technical engineering to commercial matters.

    • Part of the team from day one.

    • Help & support was available whenever I needed it, but was otherwise left to my own devices.

    • Busy days go quicker, busy days are better.

    • I was allowed to do whatever I wanted to meet my objectives and anything else I felt was important or interesting.

    • From negotiating to complex numerical modelling, it will all be useful.

    • Mostly an office environment but plenty of opportunities to get your boots dirty out and about around the power station(s).

    • Both the team and HR were well used to running placements so it was pretty seamless.
