The Role
Lots of variety, from technical engineering to commercial matters.
Part of the team from day one.
Help & support was available whenever I needed it, but was otherwise left to my own devices.
Busy days go quicker, busy days are better.
I was allowed to do whatever I wanted to meet my objectives and anything else I felt was important or interesting.
From negotiating to complex numerical modelling, it will all be useful.
The Company
Mostly an office environment but plenty of opportunities to get your boots dirty out and about around the power station(s).
Both the team and HR were well used to running placements so it was pretty seamless.
Whatever training was necessary and/or relevant, I had the opportunity to get involved.
