  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Overall I am very glad I got this placement, but there were many ups and downs.

    • The team was very welcoming, and they appreciated my input and help.

    • Support and guidance was not managed very well, but it was available if I went looking for it, rather than being a set part of the placement.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • I was bored a large proportion of the time. I had to constantly ask for jobs to do. I was never given too much work.

    • I'm happy with the level of responsibilty I was trusted with once I'd proved that I was capable.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • Definitley learned some very useful skills; technical as well as general.

    • It was a friendly, quiet atmosphere.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • I was always encouraged to attend training sessions and meetings and get out and visit other sites, in order to develop my skills. I was very pleased with this aspect of the placement.

    • This was difficult as we were all over the country!

    • Nottingham night life is great, but technically I was in Retford which is not brilliant.

    • I am not sure as I was living at home and socialising with my friends there.
