The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed working at E.ON and learnt a huge amount around Marketing Communications. I couldn't have asked for a better place to work.
I was given lots of responsibility and had the chance to work on some really exciting projects. Everyone at E.ON was lovely and very welcoming.
I was given plenty of support at E.ON. However in busy periods I sometimes struggled as other team members were extremely busy.
This fluctuated depending on what project I was working on. At the start of my placement I had a lot more spare time, however as my responsibilities grew I found myself really busy.
I wasn't thrown in at the deep end when starting my placement, but as I learnt more about the business I was given more responsibilities. For the last few months of my placement I was managing my own project.
Everything I learnt at E.ON was invaluable.
The Company
A great place to work, never dull!
At the beginning of my placement there didn't seem to be a huge amount of structure to my placement but this changed and I was given lots to work on.
I attended several training sessions aimed at developing different skills. No expense spared.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
I've been fast tracked to an assessment centre for the graduate programme.
The Culture
There was definitely a good social scene amongst colleagues, however I never came across any other placement 西瓜视频s.
I lived at home so didn't have a problem with this. However Nottingham is supposed to be relatively cheap.
Nottingham is a great night out!
As the E.ON offices I worked at are not based in the city centre, there wasn't a huge focus on out of work activities.
