  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I have enjoyed most of the work I have been doing- it's like most jobs, there are parts you like and parts you don't.

    • I feel very valued and trusted to do the work I am give. I feel very much part of the team.

    • I have always felt that there has been support available whenever I need it in the work I have been doing.

    • There were times when I was very busy and times when work was a bit slow, but overall the balance is good.

    • I feel that I was given a lot of responsibility to carry out and complete the work I was given and that I was trusted to be given some important tasks to do.

    • I have developed many skills both professionally and technically which will be of great value in the future.

    • Quiet at times, but usually something's going on.

    • The set up was ok, but I feel a bit more of an introduction to the industry and terminology could have been provided.

    • I attended many safety, health and environment courses and also had quarterly reviews with my manger.

    • Although I have enjoyed my time on placement, I have decided that the job is not what I am looking for.

    • Some social events were organised, but I feel like here could have been more.

    • Cost of living was cheaper than were I am at university!

    • I am not interested in the nightlife so have not experienced it.
