The Role
I have enjoyed most of the work I have been doing- it's like most jobs, there are parts you like and parts you don't.
I feel very valued and trusted to do the work I am give. I feel very much part of the team.
I have always felt that there has been support available whenever I need it in the work I have been doing.
There were times when I was very busy and times when work was a bit slow, but overall the balance is good.
I feel that I was given a lot of responsibility to carry out and complete the work I was given and that I was trusted to be given some important tasks to do.
I have developed many skills both professionally and technically which will be of great value in the future.
The Company
Quiet at times, but usually something's going on.
The set up was ok, but I feel a bit more of an introduction to the industry and terminology could have been provided.
I attended many safety, health and environment courses and also had quarterly reviews with my manger.
Flexi Time
International Travel
Working from home
Although I have enjoyed my time on placement, I have decided that the job is not what I am looking for.
The Culture
Some social events were organised, but I feel like here could have been more.
Cost of living was cheaper than were I am at university!
I am not interested in the nightlife so have not experienced it.
I joined a trampolining club outside of work.
