The Role
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at E.ON.
The culture at Ratcliffe Power Station is supportive, helpful, friendly, welcoming and overall an asset to the company.
My collegues at E.ON have been fantastic, from my extensive hand-over period to my on-going support from my managers.
As I gained more knowledge and experience my workload increases and I was trusted with more and more projects
By working on this placement for a year I can confidently say that the role that I am doing is an important role within the team and Station. My work heavily effects how efficiently others do their role and can heavily rely on the work I produce.
The skills I have developed will not only assist me in my future studies but have shaped my skills and preferences for my future career
The Company
Whilst my office is a brilliant environment to work in, we all have real projects with demanding deadlines so often you can walk in an we all have our heads down and are cracking on! Similarly, collegues walk in and ask us what the joke was...
My role has been filled by one year placement 西瓜视频s for a number of years so the processes are pretty seamless the only thing that you may rely on on occasions is the notes left by your predecessor.
The placement as whole has been a huge development opportunity and offering this role to undergraduates and placement 西瓜视频s can be a risky investment for the company - however the rewards for a placement 西瓜视频 are irreplacable and extremely worthwhile.

The future career prospects are extremely appealing, it would be a pleasure and a fantastic opportunity to work for E.ON and withing the ever changing energy industry.
The Culture
The other undergraduates at the Power Station have been an irreplacable support system and network - this has definately contributed to amazing time I have had on placement.
The cost of living in the midlands on placement has not been a shock to the system having spent two years as a 西瓜视频 in Yorkshire.
Nottingham is a fantastic city to live and work in.
The station offers a number of company events relating to the ongoing projects
