    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Working in the Brand team has been great and I've really enjoyed it! It's given me the chance to work with all the different areas of the business on lots of different things from reviewing customer communications (letters, brochures, etc.) to producing short internal videos.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone is really friendly and supportive and happy to make time to help you out/answer any questions you might have. I've been given a lot of responsibility which is great because I've been able to take ownership for projects/tasks and it shows that my manager/colleagues trust me.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My manager is great and is really keen for me to make the most of my placement and help with my personal development (for example through attending lots of different training courses).

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • There's always a lot to do which is great because I prefer to be constantly busy rather than being bored and waiting for home time.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I've been given a lot of responsibility which is great because it's helped my confidence to grow as well as being a great experience. My manager has always been on hand if I've ever needed anything though.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills I've developed will be really useful for when I go back to uni to finish my degree and in future jobs.

  • E.ON's been great and from just being in the office on a day to day basis you can tell that it's a company who really wants its employees to develop and be the best they can. There are lots of training courses you can go on.
