The Role
BlackRock provides a great environment wher to grow.
I felt appreciated during my internship, people are ready to listen what you like in terms of work and do their best to make you feel happy with your job.
Each time I had a question or a doubt my manager was always ready to help and support me.
It really depends: some days are really busy, some others are quite relaxed. In any case the work is usually well distributed during the day and the work-life balance is great.
During a summer internship you are always monitored, but the responsibility of the job done relies on the intern.
All what I learnt at BlackRock will help me in my future career: not only in terms of financial knowledge but also regarding the time managing, team working, presenting etc.
The Company
Everyone is absolutely frindly and helpful.
HR do a great job to manage all the interns, in tems of social events, learning sessions etc
All the interns have been provided with a series of trainings which cover all the internship.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
The internal mobility (among teams and among regions) is huge.
The Culture
Social events arranged by HR and not working long hours were key to have a social life outside the company
London city is quite expensive, but most of the evnts for the interns are covered by the company
I sometimes went out with my team in the pubs around the office
People committees encourage the employees to take part in different activities (go karting, white water rafting, etc)
