The Role
I'm quite happy with the internship on the whole, and I enjoyed this period.
I've been treated as a member of the team and have been involved in most of the strategic discussions since the first day. My opinion has always been respected and listened to.
My managers were always ready to provide answers and guidance
In most days I wasn't very busy. I feel that the work could have been structured in a more efficient way.
I've been following a project of high importance for the team. Also, after the first two weeks, my colleagues started to leave me more room to act independently. I still feel that I could have had more responsibility, though.
It's early to say, but I think I have gained some precious insight on the world of asset management, which is also the focus of my studies, so I expect to have an extra gear for my final year at university.
The Company
Relaxed and informal in most instances
Good organization for being the first internship organized at that office. Still some improvement can be made in the organization of the work.
Lots of training opportunities, and colleagues ready to go into the details of technical topics.
Company Parties/Events
The Culture
We were just two at that office, but the atmosphere was very good.
Low compared to the place I normally live in.
Quite a few in the beginning. Less during August (holiday season, few people from work were there).
