The Role
I had an amazing time! I learnt a lot and really enjoyed working in the BlackRock's environment.
Everyone here is very nice and kind and I am truely going to miss my team.
My manager was always able to find time to help me and give me an advice on how to proceed with certain problem.
I had amount of work to do, but my project was quite interesting, so I would usually not notice how time flies.
My project was more difficult to anything I've done so far, but that only made me more motivated to do it. I was finally doing something useful!
Very much. I improved my presenting skills, gained knowledge into financials (I am studying Computing Science) and how to work in a team. And now graduating and working an actual important job doesn't seem that scary!
The Company
Very welcoming and friendly. Everyone has been so nice since the moment I got here and also there are a lot of networking events where you could meet people from other divisions and offices.
Very good! There were team bonding, networking and learning events. I enjoyed every part of it!
I think they've investested quite a lot of effort, because we had many learning sessions with seniors from all kinds of divisions. Also, we were always able to reach out for them with questions and asking for an advise when needed.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
Hopefully, I would get to continue working with them.
The Culture
Yes, there were a lot of social networking events!
Well, London is kind of an expensive city, but like I mentioned - BlackRock takes good care if its employees.
There are some very nice pubs/restaurants with many friendly faces.
London is a big city - there's always something happening here!
