The Role
Really enjoyed that they treated me like a real employee rather than an intern and gave me responsibility.
Working in small teams let you get to know people and they treated me as they would any other colleague.
Given an induction to get to know the basics and then helped a lot on the job by other team members who were more than willing to help.
Took place in low season for the firm and so at times was left unused, although generally not for long.
Gave me as much responsibility as they would to a full-time employee.
Very good for developing teamwork and a good work ethic
The Company
Professional but still enjoyable
Very well although perhaps left with too few things to do towards the end of the internship
Gave us a full induction and monitored us throughout the whole internship giving plenty of feedback along the way
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
All interns in the South East were offered full-time jobs and I accepted mine
The Culture
Caught up on most Fridays and also had a meal with all interns from the South East towards the end of the internship. Sometimes being placed at client offices made it difficult to see the other interns though.
Cheaper than London but still as would be expected in terms of prices in the South East
Nice pubs
Had a huge variety of sports teams and clubs available
