The Role
Intern program had good structure and gave an insight into all areas of the business.
Depended on the person. Some were uninterested in me and ignored me, others really engaged and always had time to talk to me
Team was supportive.
There were slow days when I was just getting on updating a chartpack, but there were also exciting and busy days, but nothing stressful.
I was allowed the freedom to explore my own project, and was responsible for analysing some trade proposals. If you wanted more responsibility, you could probably get some more.
Useful insight into the industry - but not too helpful for my degree.
The Company
Asset management isnt exactly the most fun you could have over summer, but if you are interested in it, you can get really good exposure as an intern here.
HR was good!
I feel like a lot of effort and money has gone into developing this intern program
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
strongly encouraged to apply for the next years grad scheme.
The Culture
They paid for 2 socials for the interns and there was a good number of interns for going on socials.
City is expensive! Interns went to cheaper places.
Everywhere is full of suits, but to be fair, you are one of them.
Internship too short to get involved in any meaningful way.
