The Role
I am made to feel very welcome by my team, always have something to do and also got on well with the other interns.
I feel like the work I'm doing is really appreciated by my colleagues.
My supervisors have been very supportive and continue to give me guidance as and when I need it.
Sometimes it gets very busy, but I am certainly never bored - would much rather be busy!
I have a reasonable amount of responsibility - while things are generally checked before being sent out etc., I feel that I am generally trusted to carry out tasks with minimal supervision.
The skills developed on this internship will be invaluable in my future career in PR.
The Company
While everyone is very hard-working and has a lot to do, they are all very friendly and the atmosphere is good.
Everything was very well organised - no complaints!
They trained me to use various software necessary in PR and taught me how to write press releases etc. during the initial eight weeks and then extended my contract when that period came to an end.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
They have extended my contract until the end of the year.
The Culture
All the other interns were very sociable - we all got on well and socialised together frequently.
Life in London is not cheap, but we were paid well enough to be able to survive!
Lots of good bars etc.
I have been involved in several activities, and invited to join in with others.
