American manufacturer and marketer of prestige skincare, fragrance and makeup products Est茅e Lauder was founded in 1946 by Est茅e Lauder and her husband Joseph Lauder. They started the company in New York City in 1946, two years later in 1948 they established their first department store account with Saks Fifth Avenue.
Est茅e Lauder was a skin care pioneer, but was also gifted with a wonderful fragrance 鈥渘ose.鈥� One of Est茅e's earliest successes was Youth-Dew, a blend of jasmine, rose and a few other scents that would bring her fame. Est茅e Lauder now as a revenue of $11.6 billion (2016), this was a 4% increase from the figures achieved in 2015.
