Overview
Your role is to complete 1 mini-project per desk, to help in daily tasks that can support the desk, network around the trading floor and participate in Intern activities
Skills
Yes, a week of training was provided giving an overview of finance and market stuff, plus I developed skills related to Excel, PPt, etc
Responsibilities
You are not allowed to trade nor talk to clients. The responsibility is minimal.
Support & Guidance
It is hard to get a hold of people as everyone is busy, but they attempt to support you.
Culture
Very competitive, as interns are rotating they need to impress, and as everyone works more and more, the culture becomes very toxic with late nights,....

I didn't enjoy my placement very much, but it taught me valuable skills and showed me what I didn't want to do with my life, still worthwhile
